DVC website acting up . . . Again

Is anyone having trouble logging in this morning? I'm trying to log on to my account that I have had for years and it brings me to a screen to activate my membership I've tried clearing my history and still getting the same message. Weird. I usually don't have issues with it. Anyone else having this issue?
 
My guess, and it's only a guess because I haven't looked closely, is that all of the Disney sites run on the same technology stack.

The November Free Dining period for resort guests started November 15. Today is the 180 days to that date. So that group is hammering the ADR servers.

Add in today being the first day of the morning FP+ booking for 60/30 days.

The servers are underpowered for the beating they are taking, so even sites that seem to be separate are acting up, because they all link through to the same back end systems and bandwidth.
 
Thanks auroraborealis, I'll try again later. It's just so frustrating that I can't log in and check availability or possibly book a trip. I know I could call but it's just so much easier seeing it in front of me and then checking flights to see if I want to pull the trigger. I've never really had issues with the website but now I get everyone's frustration with the it.
 
I was able to login, but I am not able to book online. I get a "website cannot display the page" warning in all browsers.

Just tried to sign on and I got that message. Frustrating!
 
I just tried again figuring it would be all cleared up by now but nope, still a no go. If it's still like this after work tomorrow I'll call but not sure how much good that will do.
 
Still doesn't work for me. Every time I try to sign in it kicked me over to register new account page. So frustrating

Wow, this morning I have already logged in twice, once to book a stay for January. Then I remembered I wanted to ask a question, so I logged in to send them an email.
Sorry that you are having trouble. Can you call them when they open?

Same....didn't work yesterday morning, so thought I would wait it out. Tried again this morning and still kicks me to the register new account page.
 
Member website is not working for me, either. But neither is MDE.
 
I was having the same problem and I just got off the phone with Member Services (they opened at 8 AM for this issue) and my problem is now fixed. Had to set up my account with an email versus our old user name and had to reset the password with at least 1 number. I can now access the DVC website!

I haven't been able to log in but after reading this I tried using my email as opposed to my username and it worked (with the same password). Thanks!
 
I just got that same message. I used my e-mail also, but it didn't work. Very frustrating.

I had the exact same problem. Just got off the phone with MS.

The recent updates are now REQUIRING use of an email address for the user ID. I was using a member name for my user ID (and had been since the beginning of time). CM did a password reset for my account after he checked my account to see if the email adress was there. (It was). I used my same password for the reset, which was successful since it met the password requirements for length and numbers, etc). So now I will need to use my email address for all the Disney accounts.

I tried logging in to MDE to make sure that worked (it was still working even when DVC Member website wasn't). It was fine with the email address login, but it made me verify / update my account info.

I think I am good, now.

Did have to wait a bit to get a CM even though I called during the special website help period of 8 AM - 9 AM Eastern (5/19, 5/20, 5/21) - I think many of us were caught on the wrong side of this change.

Emilaylay93 - looks like you'll have to call, too.

just saw this thread and decided to check DVC and MDE.
I can use my member name or email on the DVC members site but can only use my member name on my MDE site. Can not use my email on MDE site, believe me I've been trying for 20 mins.
Also when I sign in on MDE it logs me in on DVC site too but if I sign in on DVC first it does not log me in on MDE site.
WHAT GIVES!!!
