DVC Web Site Hits A New Low

Just tried to log onto the member website and received the following message:

"Due to hurricane Frances Disneyworld.com is temporarily experiencing technical difficulties. Please return to this site soon. Thank you for your patience. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Guh!!!

Sounds like they were having difficulties...and forgot to update the message before they put it out there! Ooops!

They need to scrap the entire site, then head down to the local highschool and offer free Mountain Dew to anyone who wants to help build a new one. In about six hours we'll have a world class site we can actually use.

I don't think the site is that bad, I have been able to find the information I have needed on there. I hear so much bad talk about the site, it could be worse, we could not have one, like a year ago.

Now that free mountain dew thing is damn funny!!!!!!!....add me to the list of people who think the web site is lousy!!!....you get info, but it is complicated to surf around...the descriptions of the resorts are nothing more then cheesy pop up ads, and registering for it was like having to enter the codes to launch a nuclear missle!

I rent my points sometimes and as a website for potential lessors it is great. they can see all the rooms and bits of each resort. For members, I think they need more content and a way for us to use the internet interactively. The should figure out a way to allow us to make resort and dining reservations on line. I also would like more info on the II and CC choices.

It is however, a very pretty and glitzy site and I enjoy looking at it. Now if we could get some info on it, WOW would that be great!
