DVC watches

I saw in the last newsletter that Fossil is making member watches to be available at various DVC resorts. Has anybody purchased one? If so, how much are they? Are they nice?

On the DVC website, it states that they will not be available until Fall. I believe they come in a little 'suitcase' and will have both a women's and men's style.

I thought I remembered the price from the Vacation Magic was $125 but I could be wrong.

Good memories! The watch is $125 and comes in a case shaped like a suitcase with travel stickers for each of the DVC resorts. Per the website, it won't be available until the fall. There will be 1,000 men's and 1,000 women's watches for sale at the DVC resort merchandise shops and you'll need to show your blue member ID.

OK, I didn't remember what it said in VM!! So they are in a very limited edition. I bet they will be on ebay before ya know! Thanks for the info.

I wonder what they define as fall?? I'll be there in Mid-October, but with only 1000 of them, I"m guessing they'll be gone by then.

That's funny! I thought the same thing. Maybe they look better in person than the pic in the newsletter. I will be looking for them ( if there are any left) during our Dec. trip.

I collect limited edition watches, and more often than not, it is the case or figurine with the watch that attracts me. The watches themselves are often non-descript.

I think that is the case here.
