DVC vs. Westgate

Something really funny happened to us when we started telling people about our DVC purchase. A co-worker of my husband said "you purchased their, you only get a certain amount of years." She implied her Westgate timeshare was better.

Well, today I received an email that she wants my help in trying to get it sold. She needs to get rid of it now. From what I have heard, you lose a lot of value when you sell other timeshares. It makes me so grateful for DVC, and that if it came down to me needing to sell, that I wouldn't lose a bunch of my money.

Can anyone provide details about the best way for her to go about getting rid of this? Thanks.

I'd suggest that your friend join www.tug2.net and ask there, or you could ask there for her. TUG is like the DISboards, but for all timeshares. They can help her figure out the value of her timeshare & the best way to sell.
