DVC vs Cash Calculate Costs

While visiting the site posted I found this and thought I would share.

Just booked a trip today for May 2005
total points 5 nights 2 bed 133

Total rack rate $2875 plus tax


I know there are discounts but still I could never afford to stay there otherwise!

I have thought of that too. My OKW 1 bedroom for 5 nights in May would have been $2,146 and my BWV 1 bedroom for 6 nights in December would be $2,609. So the rack rate of my 2 stays this year would be about $4,755! I have 250 points, my dues are a little over $1,000. My initial cost in 1999 after magical beginnings was $14,750. Sounds like a good deal to me!
