During "Value Season" how difficult is it to get a room for one night on either a Tuesday or Wednesday.
I was thinking it should be easy and we are "buying in" to SSR to get rooms at DVC during those time frames. All of our reservations would be a couple days out.
DVC does not have "value season", the season dates for DVC are totally different from the WDW hotels. The first 2 weeks of December are the lowest season (adventure season) and they can be the hardest time to get rooms.
We agree! The lowest Disney attendance times, DOES not mean the lowest DVC attendance times. We were also SSR and could not get WL at the seven month window for Dec., which is where we truly wanted to stay, so we switched. However we were able to book WL for our daughter at Sping Break (the only time she could go other than summer since she is a teacher). It depends on how much you desire a certain resort during those times you are asking about.
It might help if you quantify what you mean by "value season". If you mean DVC's adventure season then spiceycat has pretty much summed things up. If you mean the deluxe, mod's or value hotels value season then the response might be a little different.
