DVC vacation insurance and banking points

Let's say I purchase DVC travel insurance for my 2013 points but end up banking them all into 2014. Will the insurance I purchased on those points (and only those points) carry over into the next use year when the points are banked?

Yes it will. We banked points from this current year, after we booked our May cruise on the Fantasy. We bought the insurance to cover our points (cruise, pre & post cruise stay at BCV). Later we decided to spend our anniversary at BWV in the next use year. Since the points we are using for our anniversary stay were all banked from this use year, MS said the insurance we purchased for this use year will cover those points.
