I tried the search engine but it's disabled at this time....
Wifey-poo and I were curious if our experience was unique...we stayed at the BCV last week as guests of friends who bought in there. Our experiences on arrival at OKW, VB and BWV were all happy 'Welcome Home' ones...from the security at the gate to the maids we passed in the halls.
Beach Club had none of that...not rude, but no warm fuzzies for being owners. We happened to pull in at almost the same time as another member family. The back of their truck was _full_ and the bell hops commeneted 'Oh no, you must be DVCers' to them. It was gentle and said with a smile, but I can't shake the impression that DVC at the beach club is sorta like the red-headed stepchild of the resort.
Regardless of the lack of warm fuzzies, this week was a nice one, but it solidified in our minds that the rooms at OKW will trump anything offered at other WDW DVC resorts...including pools, kitchen sinks, boardwalks, and really neat train themed lobbies.
