I'm stretching the limits of the DVC Board but I thought folks who frequent BWV and/or BCV would be the most likely to have an idea. One of the couples who have been competing on the "Win Your Mortgage" edition of Trading Spaces is Vilma and Angel. Several years ago on the boat from the resort to Epcot I remember a captain who was very friendly and talkative throughout the trip. It was right around Christmas (maybe even Christmas Eve or Day) and he told us all to be sure to shake his hand as we left so that we could tell everyone we had been "Touched by an Angel."

From the minute I saw Angel on the show I felt it could be this same "Angel" from the boat. Something they said early on about his job threw me off and I figured it wasn't possible. Tonight, they said both he and his wife work "in the theme park industry".

So, long story short, could it be the same Angel? Anyone else watch the show and thought you saw Angel before at BWV?

Unfortunately, they did not win. :(

I read something where it said both Angel and Vilma worked for Disney -- think it was in an Orlando Sentinal artical. However, tonight in the 'behind the scenes' clip/finale show, Angel mentioned that he works the 11:30pm shift, which would mean he's probably with custodial or the like.

Thanks aeryn. I found the article and it does say they both work for Disney. I think I heard him say something about nights, too. I'm sure there are quite a few Angels at WDW, it just seemed like he had the same personality and I thought I'd take a shot.

Here's the article for others that might be interested.

It could still be him. Lots of CMs change jobs and I think that is particularly true of those who "captain" the pontoon cruises. That seems to be a very "part time" job - One of our captains had another job and attended graduate school and the other was looking for soemthing else (with benefits). At least that is my impression from talking to them.

We watched and wondered which of the theme parks they worked for so thanks for posting the article. Personally, I voted for Jon and Stacy as Angel and Vilma just seemed more fake with their responses and emotions and arrogant about their decorating abilities. I just liked Jon and Stacy better.
