DVC tapes in the parks, how much?

Has anyone bought DVC tapes in the parks, and could tell me how much they are? We're planning on buying sevferal ahead of time, but are trying to decide how many to stock up on or should we just be conservative and grab more there if necessary.

Not sure of the price, but you can bet they will be twice as expensive..or more.. then at Walmart. My advice, bring a few extra that you purchase from home...if you dont use them at the parks, you can always use them at home, or even save your receipt and return them to your local store. You do not want to pay Disney's price for them, believe me.

We just purchased an 8 pack at Sams Club for 20.00. That's the cheapest I have ever seen.

Hee! About 3/4 of the people who read your title are probably going to do the same thing I did..

"What? There are special tapes for DVCers?"

..and then feel dumb when they realize you were talking about video tapes. (Just like I did.)

Last week I had to pick up a couple extra tapes at the Living Seas. The two-pack of tapes (I forget if they're DVC...they're for my mini-DV Handycam?) cost about $18.00.

To compare, I bought a two 4-packs from Wal-Mart before we left for $17 each.

Moral of the story?

STOCK UP before you go, even if you can't imagine using 20 of them!!

(Or get to a local Wal-Mart, CVS, or Target in Orlando.)
