So I got an email from Disney to do a DVC survey. It took about 20 minutes. I hate that they don't let you explain some of your answers. Anywho, what did make me happy Is the Disboards came up twice if not 3 times. I'm glad to see the Disboards getting recognition on the impact they make on the Disney community.

It was a bit long and didnt mind doing it.

I was very surpised that it asked about DISBoards and other 3rd party sites, etc.

I thought it was too long and had invasive questions. They asked me what my mental state was prior to the vacation (along with age, gender, race and income questions that I NEVER answer.) I was able to comment on mine.

:thumbsup2 That is great that the Dis boards were brought up.

I wasn't asked my mental state, I would have wanted to answer that question :rotfl2: I really don't care about answering the other questions. I don't really see why it matters, to me, but that's just me. ;)

Can someone who took this survey please go into detail about some of the DVC questions that you were asked. Thanks.

I wish I had received a survey. Did it come in the mail or was it an online survey? What questions did they ask? I never get asked to participate in a survey.

It was a long survey but did allow for comments in response to some questions. They wanted to know my thoughts on:
my home resorts
available perks
annual household income
number of trips per year or maybe it was since I purchased
I think there was a ? on when the next trip was planned
when was my last trip on points
use of non DVC experiences and would I use RCI again (yes I was stupid and traded out once)
Which RCI resort did I stay at and what did I think of it
other timeshares
There were no MF ?'s that I can remember
They asked about cruises but I have never done one

Not sure how it was worded but I was able to work in how crappy IT services are AND that we need online reservations which are so sweet with this other TS I own. I gave specific systems that work for TS's

There was a lot more but that is all I can remember quickly.:laundy:

Was I the only one questioned about my mental state prior to the vacation?:dance3: I guess they know me!

Survey was long, but I felt it might be worth getting opinions in with Claire taking over.

I gave a pretty good response to DVC overall, but kept emphasizing that we need to get online reservations going. There is no reason that we shouldn't be able to go online and see what is available? Every hotel chain in the world has this. Maybe make us call to book an RCI or DCL reservation, but we should be able to just get DVC properties without calling.
