I heard salt and pepper are not provided. Any other surprises? I know to bring laundry detergent, coffee and filters (what kind of filters though?), extra soap and shampoo.
All of the coffee pots use the flat bottom "Mr. Coffee" type. Some are 4 cup, but most are 10-12 cup size. If you are in a studio, some have a 4 cup, if you need a BIG pot call housekeeping, they will bring you the larger one.
Bring non-perishable food items in a suit case. These are cheap items that you really don't like spending higher dollars on during vacation. Packets of sugar/equal. Cans of soup. Canned cheese spread. Boxes of crackers. Small boxes of cereal. Etc.
You can then use the empty suitcase to bring home valuable Disney merchandise.
Great ideas! We plan on stopping at a super Walmart on the way in. Definitely will need the BIG COFFEE MAKER. Since we are in a 2 bedroom I think we will be all set.
We were at the BCV in late March/early April. I ended up going to get salt/pepper. Later in the week, housekeeping showed up with a "supplies list" that they stuck inside one of the cabinet doors in the kitchen. On it was a note that they WOULD PROVIDE free salt and pepper upon request. I think it just said to ask housekeeping. In any case, salt and pepper (available at the sundries shop at the BC) won't break the bank, but hey, you've already paid enough, so let them provide it!
