I know OKW studios have two beds in them. Are there any other DVC resorts that offer two beds, in at least part of their rooms or by request?
thanks

You'd need a dedicated two bedroom villa (not a lockoff, except at OKW which always has two beds in the second bedroom and not a BWV or AKV-JH - no dedicated 2 Bdrms there) to get two queen beds in the second bedroom. No master bedroom has two beds - just a king sized bed and sleeper sofa (and in some a sleeper chair as well).

they say they would never do one like OKW again.

most members say (and they need a new survey) that they wanted a queen bed and a sleeper sofa - not 2 queen beds.

even if the members change their mind and don't think most will - DVC still like the studio as they are - because they take less space.

I widh they'd ask about this again because we would rather have 2 queen beds. As dd gets older, the sofa bed is less comfy.

It might be an interesting idea if someday a resort was built with a premium studio offering 2 queens and a sleeper sofa. I'd expect points to be closer to what the 1-bedrooms are, though.

Studios were really designed for couples or families with small children. More than that, they want you to get a 1 bedroom or larger for more points so it probably will not change. Plus they would need more square footage. If you look at a BLT studio, there's no way 2 queens would fit.

Two queens wouldn't fit in most of the studios. DVC found out they had something with OKW so they decided they needed to cut down the space required. So, smaller sleeper sofa.

They included the deacon's bench in the BWV dedicated studio but it was never intended to replace a sleeper sofa. The mattress is about crib sized.

If you want a premium studio, just book the AoA suite. DVC wouldn't offer a room (instead of a villa) with more sleeping spaces, for fewer points than a one bedroom.
