DVC Split Stay with Dining Plan

Please tell me if this is do-able. We are going to WDW for 4 nights, at 3 different resorts. Because I have 3 reservations, I should be able to add the Disney Dining Plan for only a portion of my trip, right?

Day 1 - VGF - No dining
Day 2 & 3 - BCV - Deluxe Dining (6 meals + 4 snacks total)
Day 4 - AKL - No dining

If I don't use all of my meals on days 2 & 3, I can still use them on Day 4 until Midnight (of the day I check out from BCV) BUT, if I check into AKL will it mess up the leftovers?

My guess is I would have to use different magic bands...ones for the food on Day 4 and 1 for the room on Day 4. Anyone know?

That should be doable. The second day of the dining plan can be used until midnight on the day of checkout. This is one time I think the plan can really work. Three table service meal spread over three days works better for me.

You should not need a room key for the last night. When I did this in the past the credits were still tied to my band but was still able to use the band for my room at the new resort. My gratuities appeared on the first resort statement.

I am doing the same thing on my upcoming trip in a week. Two night at one resort before moving for the last nights at a second resort. I booked all my dining over the three with two signature and two regular meals. For me it leaves time open to use my snacks at food and wine booths.
