DVC split stay dining

Hello I have looked for the answer before asking but can I get the dining plan if I have a split stay and rented pts from 2 different members? I have 1 day at SSR and 4 days at AKL. TIA

Yes but the owners that you rented from have to purchase the plans for you.

You would actually have to buy two dining plans. Dining applies to each reservation in a split stay, and each would follow the rules of dining relative to that reservation. The DDP for the one night would be good from checkin to the next day midnight. All credits would have to be used before the plan for AKV became available that next day.

The members would have to purchase and pay in full when adding, and you would pay them for the plan.

I wasn't sure if I could get the dining plan for the 1 night stay at SSR but I knew I could for AKL. I appreciate the help

Your one night dining plan will expire at midnight of the day you check out of that resort. And you'll need to finish using those credits before you can use the credits a the new reservation. Plus, you can't combine credits from the two plans for a single meal.

It also depends on the willingness of the owners you're renting from to add it. Some won't.

With a split stay, just know that your new credits for the 2nd reservation at AKL will not become available to you until you have used up all the credits from your one night at SSR. AND, you need to make sure you are checked out of SSR and check in at AKL before those new credits become available.

This happened to me in April. I was told as long as I used up all the credits from first stay, the 2nd ones would be available first thing in the morning for our breakfast at Ohana. I was staying at VGF and going to BWV so wanted to be able to go right to breakfast at Poly. CM at VGF said no problem. Well, got to Ohana, and credits didn't work. I had to pay for the meal and get reimbursed when I got to BWV later in day and checked in. The good news is that they were very nice about it and gave us a free meal for our troubles. They said we should have been given correct info! But, the plus side of two plans is two mugs! We ended up buying T-shirts for family back home and put them inside the second mug as a dual souvenir since our mugs from the first part of the trip were still valid for the second part!
