DVC Special Tickets Question

We are renting points and ran across the DVC member special tickets deal here: http://www.mousesavers.com/sources-for-discounts-on-walt-disney-world-tickets/#dvc

Can our guy we are renting from buy these and mail them to us or have us pick them up when we are checking in at the resort or simply apply them to our reservation? Or does the member need to be traveling with you? The description doesn't specify, just says the member must be the purchaser of the tickets.

The member would have to purchase them and be there to pick them up. Others have posted that there is a way to link them to a MDE account and then that is not necessary.

However, there is a limit of how many tickets one is allowed. Plus, the owner may not want to have to become involved in this because if there are problems, they won't be there to help sort it out.

Cool, thanks! The member we are renting from is going to call member services and find out if there is a way that we can do it.

Our guy we are renting from called and said that we could link the tickets to our MDE account and use them without him being present. Just thought that I'd give a quick update. He said that he would give us "the account number" after we pay for the tickets. Not sure if he means his member account number or what, but it sounds like that is what member services told him to do.

You'll get a will-call number that you'll enter on the MDE site. That will link the tickets to your account.
