DVC Soarin Tour

2 friends and I took the tour this morning at California Adventure. It was really great! One hour long, worth the time. Got to ride it as normal and then we were taken behind the screen to watch the seats go up and see the film from below. Then to another area to here history. One hour all together. Loved our guide Trent. Very worth the time. At DCA, reservations are made at 60 days and I didn't have a problem getting it.

I like that at California Adventure they bring you behing the screen, I didn't get that at WDW. I liked the tour, but I would have liked more if it included more backstage action.

Just curious, did you just get a confirmation number when you booked. I asked for an email confirmation but member services said they did not send out email confirmations for this type of thing. I wanted the email because at first she said there was no availability, then when I questioned that she checked again and got us in. She did give a confirmation number so I'm sure it is fine. We will be takin the tour at California Adventure, was easy to find the meeting place. Member services did not have information for the meeting place, but I was able to find it on the website. Thanks

All I had was the number. The funny thing is they never took names at the meeting place! They had counted 20 people and that was it! The funny thing was I forgot where they said to meet, so I walked up to the entrance and the cm's working had no clue. Finally a manager came out and they asked him and he knew.

I agree it would be a wonderful experience. The problem is being among he lucky few who are able to get the reservation. Congrats to everyone who managed to get them.

Exactly 60 days @ 9:00am eastern for California Adventure.

When I took the tour a few months ago, I had the confirmation number and didn't know where to go. The meeting place is across the entrance from ride. I saw a CM with a clip board and a group of people. He checked our name off the list and started the tour backstage.
