DVC Sliders?

We have some of the old "retro" dvc sliders we would love to trade for the new magnets since we wont be down for a while. Just with postage would prefer to trade with fellow Canadians. If this post is not allowed,,please delete.

I may have some magnets from when we purchased direct last year, but if not I could pick some up when we are down at the beginning of July. We're located in Halifax/Dartmouth and would love t get a couple of sliders!

Update on sliders. I spoke to several DVC kiosk staff (from resorts to parks).

They all acted surprised when I brought it up and they were going to do me a favor since it was a "Sales tool" and ordered and paid for by the "sales team." The first time I asked about the "free gift" for stopping by as noted in my email, it took an ask to surface the sliders. A magnet and steamboat Willie print was first offered. I asked about a thrid magnet for my daughter and she was strict that it is two per household. She entered it in an iPad and collected my phone number. I asked at another location and was asked, if had I already received my two per household since they are being extremely strict on these. A third time (while willingly going on a tour of a bungalow), I thought I would openly say I had two but was hoping for another and was once again told how strict they are being with them.

She had the most interesting comment that they "hope" to offer more in the future but a rumor (bus driver) said they may have a holiday-themed one later this year.

That said, I have seen others post they got a handful. But this may have been in the past. I am not wiling to spend $25 on ebay for it. I am fine with them not passing them out for no reason but it almost seems like it is playing towards a two-parent household and nothing for kids. Again, I get it and I appreciate anything they give us, after more sets of magnets when I asked each time - why one over the other?

I went to Boardwalk to ask about visiting the sample room (which turns out to be their office, so it has work tables in it where beds should be), and was offered the magnets and a few sliders (I think 3) by the employee.

Was there last week and able to get sliders from DVC kiosk in the American pavilion at Epcot and magnets from the DVC desk at Riviera. We first asked the kiosk across from Pixar Place at HS and they didn't have any.

Probably because sliders are worth $25 on eBay and magnets are not.

As with many things at Walt Disney World, this is the intersection between guests who will take advantage of every loophole (especially if there's a dollar to be made), Disney trying to set reasonable limits and Cast Members who occasionally go beyond those limits to provide "pixie dust."

Some places have either Riviera or VDH prints. We just got the magnet when at kidani in June because they only had Riviera prints and we already had one. Sounded like they got VDH later in the day but we didn’t go back.

We stopped at the DVC booth in DinoLand in AK during Moonlight Magic last week and asked about the sliders. The CM said they were completely out everywhere (even at Aulani) and that they were expecting a shipment in November hopefully.

So, the rumor back in June I posted about from a guide was true. Wow. I figured it was bus driver chat. Looks awesome.
