DVC Site Question

Hello all,

I have what I think is a simple question.

I am thinking about becoming a DVC member.

If I do, I will not be able to use my points for the first year so I was thinking of selling them to someone.

I was told I could do this on the DVC site but I have been searching all over it and can not find where I can do it.

Am I missing it or can you not sell your points for a year in the DVC web site?

Besides here are there other places you can offer your points for sale?

You could "rent" the points, ie... transfer the points to another DVC member or book a reservation on behalf of another person (hence renting the reservation to that person). You can do that by checking out the Rent/Trade Board under the DVC section. If you get current year points for 2005 and can't use those, you could also bank those into the 2006 year and have double the points to use during that year.

You can also bank your points one year forward, giving you twice your annual allotment to use in a single year. This funcation cannot currently be performed on the DVC website. Maybe someday. Today, it takes a 5-minute toll free call to Member Services to accomplish the task.
