DVC site problems

below is the problem I have.

Me again, 4 days later OCT 29 and still can't get to my vacations page it just starts blinking that site is not available. It just keeps flashing ( very annoying) looks like all else works but that.

Today, 9am NOV 1st. 6 days later from 1st problem On OCT 25th that I knew of and I still can't get into the MY VACATIONS SECTION. I can't do waitlist, can't book, can't see my vacations it just keeps blinking and saying check back later. IT'S BEEN 6 DAYS WHAT'S THE PROBLEM. Anyone else have this problem. I checked around the website and all else seems to work. What good is the site if only parts worked.
 
You need to call MS and get some help.

I just checked and all those pages are working OK for me. Must be a problem with your account on the Member website & booking engine. Good luck!
 
Carol, I just spent 45 minutes with MS and tech and did not correct the issue. I can access the whole site except anything under the MY VACATIONS SECTION. they think it might be something my internet provider can fix. I don't get it why I can use everything but that section. All of a sudden this happens and I can't book on line.
Does anyone else have this problem ?
 
I just booked a room and placed two wait lists with no issue.
 

I was using the site last night to book a trip. I had no problems at all. I usually have the best experience on the members website when I use Chrome. What browser are you using?
 
I use Internet explorer and have for years. DVC tech has tried everything to fix it and can't. I can sign in and use everything on the site except the MY VACATIONS SECTION. Can't book anything and they can't fix it. Go figure and it's there site. I am not the internet type so it baffles me.
 
I suggest you install Chrome and see if that fixes the problem. I had problems on the members site with Firefox, mainly due to the ad blocker add-on. I have never had problems accessing the site with Chrome.
 
I use Chrome as well, and have not had any issues with the website.
 
Just talked with Verizon and they checked everything in IE and also in Chrome. IE still had error and Chrome came up for about 1 minute and then got the service unavailable error. Even using my wife's sign in I get the error code too. My Verizon tech said that the error code number in the bottom
right corner of the box says it's a Disney issue . Everything he saw on line was good with Verizon side.

I got the same "service unavailable error" for almost a week straight when I was trying to cancel a booking online. Finally had to call MS to cancel it for me. I used both safari (iphone) and chrome with both mine and hubby's online accounts
 
I use Chrome and have been having intermittent issues with my Dashboard coming up as unavailable - they're working on it - for the past week. Reload and it works. I haven't had anything specific to My Vacations as that has worked but yes, the site has a fair amount of issues again after being relatively ok for awhile. They did have a notice up a week or so ago that they were upgrading. Enough said about that.
 
All of my stuff came up OK using Mac/Safari. Slow loading--maybe 5-10 seconds from mouse click to info being displayed. But current reservations and booking page displayed correctly, without any error messages.
 
Have you tried logging in at a friend/relative's home that uses a different service? Or perhaps a work network? If the problem is still there, then it would seem to be a DVC IT issue with the way your account is set up.

UPDATE WITH WEBSITE ERROR.
if you were following my post and problems here is what MS tech did. Katie at tech support looked into the issue I've had for 6 days now that I know of.
She got back to me earlier today and we had to set up a new ID for me on the DVC site. It was like just joining again, nothing lost. We set it up on Chrome because Katie said the DVC site works better with Chrome. I was OK with that because it still didn't work on IE anymore, I don't know why it stopped all of a sudden. Anyway it works now on Chrome and I'll let you know if I have any problems in the coming days.

PS: if your getting the box saying service not available, check back later and it keeps flashing see if there is a error code # in the bottom right corner of the box. Call support and tell them you have a error code and give them the number. That's what I did when Verizon told me about that # it's a Disney issue.
 
Glad you are up and running, paults. I can imagine how frustrated you must have been. Kudos for being persistent and getting it fixed.
