DVC site point tracker

I was part of a marketing research project at the YC today where I tested out the prototype for the DVC website. I was highly impressed with what you'll be able to access on the member website. They had contracts listed separately and you could view all past point usage including banking and borrowing. You can pay your dues online and see your payment history. They had a page that showed upcoming trips. They even had a page to show the breakdown of your annual dues (real estate taxes, operating costs, etc.). It's nice to see that DVC went beyond my expectations. I would have been happy just seeing the current state of my points, but what they've put together is much more comprehensive. Every transaction you've made with your points will be on there. The new pages will be under the "My DVC" section of the site. It appears to be almost complete so hopefully we'll see it soon!

Did they have any type of online reservation setup? or availability checking?

No, the reservation stuff will be down the road they said. This was strictly for keeping track of your contracts and point usage.

I received $80 disney dollars and several mickey rice krispey treats! I thought I would be part of a group, but it was just me with a few people behind a curtain. One person was sitting next to me asking questions as I surfed through the site.

They didn't let me know how soon, but they did say it was about 95% complete. My own guess is in about three to four months.
