I started publishing some raw sales numbers
here.
That info won't give you resort-by-resort breakdowns or even the number of points in each contract sold. However, for the most part I think we can assume that the average points per contract would fluctuate very little from month-to-month. Each period contains a mix of new and add-on sales. The only period which may come into question in that regard is January '09 when members were told they had only a limited time to buy small add-ons at BLT.
DVC rooms need to be declared into inventory before they can be sold. Those declarations are public record and they suggest that there is still quite a bit of AKV and BLT left to sell. Half of the SSR Treehouses have been declared. We'll have to wait and see when the others follow.
Selling 4 resorts at once is fairly unprecedented for DVC. (I believe they had OKW, BWV, VB and HHI available about 15 years ago.) Slow movement at specific properties plus the general state of the economy has lead some to suggest that DVC is hurting these days. The numbers I've tracked don't really bear that out. DVC has certainly benefited from having high-appeal resorts like BLT, VGC and even the Treehouse Villas available now, but that lucky stroke appears to be helping them ride out the tough economy.
