DVC Safari Spectacular......Surprise Party?

We are staying at the beach club in two rooms and will be attending September 22.
I have eight people going. Will I be able to pick up all our wrist bands and tickets at the front desk ??

Per information provided from DVC you can pick them up at the resort or at the park. They indicated to check with the front desk on where to pick up the bands so the front desk may direct you somewhere such as concierge to get them.

At AKV Jambo, we could not get them before 6PM this past Tuesday. We picked them up at the DVC information podium. With the wristband only, they began letting us in just s bit before 7. It was pouring rain. One of my friends had no other admission media so we waited.

Dinner at Tiffins was excellent. The safari was fun at night. Especially active were male and female lion!

Has anyone tried to check in to the Safari Spectacular Party at their Resort? I just received a notice from DVC that states we can check in at the Beach Club front desk where we are staying.

Check-In: Members can check-in at the following locations
(Membership Card and Photo ID are required):

• Disney Vacation Club Resorts: 5:30-9:00 p.m. (Please check the front desk for specific check-in location).
• Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park Entrance: 7:00-10:00 p.m.
• Inside Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park near the Dawa Bar in Africa: 5:30-10:00 p.m.(Please see information about complimentary admission below.)

We checked in at AKL-Kidani for the party on the 13th. They had it set up at the Airline check in counter. Super easy and no wait. Was nice to get bands on and everything inside out of the rain. Entire party did not have to be present either. She asked if all 5 of us I reserved for were going and she gave me 5 bands. Safarri FP and Tickets for the carnival games were picked up at the gate at AK.
