DVC Safari Spectacular reservations????

I made my DD dial for me, and after several tries, she made it through. Now I'm on hold, est. time 25 minutes. Yikes! Hope the system is working when I get thru!

Just got through and booked ours for Sept. 13. It's all up and running! Was on the phone 34 mins from calling, hold, to finished booking.

20 minutes of Small World, Tale as Old as Time, and Soarin' on-hold music, sprinkled with some lovely announcements telling me to save time by booking online.
6 minutes with a wonderful DVC CM named Deanne.
We now have 4 tickets for 9/6/16!!!! Woot!

I got in after 135 tries of calling. My hold music was; Soarin', America and Pirates Life for Me. Total time from on hold to end of call was 26:10. Got in for 9/22. They said the event starts at 9:30 but we could enter park anytime after 7pm. I'm showing the park closes at 7pm. So I'm not really sure what there is between 7-9:30 then? Just stores open?

Just keep swimming! After 71 tries, I got in to make reservations for 4 on September 13th. She confirmed that we could enter the park as early as 7:00.

Yes get 4. They ask for 48 hours notice if you or anyone in your party can't attend

Took me 10 minutes of a busy signal and have been on hold for 11 minutes so far.

Getting tons of Indiana Jones music on hold. It'd be really nice to have a sequence of hold music to let callers know their movement within the queue.

Option 1. While I was trying to get through, I kept wondering how many people were pressing Option 2 to try and skirt the system, and if they were having any luck with that. However, I decided to be a good boy and stick with Option 1. Finally got through and got my tix!

My husband tried option 2 after getting the busy signal many times as we do need to do a couple other things as well on the call. He had to give up after an hour on hold. It estimated 25 minutes but he hung up at 60 as he had to for work. So I don't think that's an easy way to skirt the system.

Ya don't give up!!! I was one the phone for 20 mins and finally was able to book for Sept. 6!!! so excited!!! There will be food and beverages and exclusive entertainment!!!
