Can someone please direct me to a thread that gives a comprehensive list of the RV DVC resort parking options/regulations. A search has only led me to dead ends...no pun intended. I want to park my Airstream outside BCV or BWV next October. Member services said it is not possible...my husband and I both noticed 4 to 6 RV's parked there last October. What gives? :confused3

I'll go out on a limb... The official rule is that no trailers or RV are allowed to park at resort hotels, including DVC. That said, I would seriously doubt that any one would tell you no if you were not parking where it blocked anyone or was a nusiance. BUT, parking is a premium at BWV and kinda at BCV. ( last week there were 2 RVs parked in out of the way spaces at BCV). Last year 2003, over christmas, there was an OCCUPIED RV parked at Pop Century for the whole 10 days we were there, I don't think that is appropriate. We asked at OKW check in about our waverunner trailer and were directed to park it at Fort Wilderness. There were many other trailers at OKW and I did feel that I was being punished by following the rule, It did not take that much more time to drive it over there, but I was worried about the security aspect. I should have not asked, or notfollowed the rules and did what I wanted, just as others had.

Once at OKW, a huge motor home was taking up 4 spaces outside our villa. We called, and it was later moved to the end of the cul-de-sac where it was out of everyone's way. When we had friends staying with us one trip who had arrived in an RV, we asked where they could park it. They were directed to Port Orleans RS and a cast member even went with them and brought them back to OKW. I'm quite sure if you arrange ahead of time, you will be accommodated as to where you can park.

Thank you for the quick responses. Our plans would be to park it out in the farthest row of that parking lot where it would not be in anyone's line of vision. Yes, I would feel unsafe about leaving it at some other location where we could not check on it daily. Last October, we noted others parked at BCV and I guessed it would be less of a hassle there, too. I guess we will book BCV, and hope for the best. We plan to spend the week after Disney using it to explore the sights in the Asheville area before we head back home to Indiana.

BCV will be easier than BWV - there always seems to be a parking problem at BWV. At best you would probably have to park in the lot across the street - where the employees park. It's quite a hike! You wouldn't be able to see the RV from the resort entrance at all. Even if you parked in the furthest back part of the BW lot, I'm sure you would have to move (assuming your unit takes up more than one spot). The BW managment gets lots of complaints about lack of parking at BW. I think the BC/YC/BCV lots are larger. Hope it works out for you.

Best wishes -

We had our RV at BWV once and I called to check on parking. They directed that we park in the Upper BWV lot and not the general parking lot. The Upper lot is where the taxis all wait. You get to it by making an immediate left turn just past the guard entrance. This lot always seems to be empty and I'm not sure many people even know it exists. You may or may not be able to see the RV from the room. The walk isn't too long though. You can exit the BWV resort and walk through the Valet parking lot.

We almost always travel to WDW via RV (a 33 foot Holiday Rambler Imperial). The only place we have not stayed yet is BWV, but you have an answer for that one above. :)

At OKW, we park at Dixie Landings/Port Orleans. We go to OKW first and unpack, then drop it off. A CM will follow you over and take you back if desired.

At BCV, we park in the lot. Never had an issue. Plenty of room there. We have done this several times.

At WLV, there was room in a nearby lot. Only stayed there once.

We did not bring the RV on our recent stay at Saratoga Springs. There would not have been room in the lot at Congress Park where we stayed. I have a feeling that once that resort is finished, any RV or trailer parking will be in another area.. maybe near the golf course (just a total guess).

HH is the WORST when it comes to RV parking. There is no RV parking at the resort at all. You need to park in a shopping mall.

This is where my BIL was asked to park their 42' Rolling Mansion. There was no one else parked there except a Ferarri--I guest the valet guys aren't allowed to deal with cars like that. He was parked right under a light in clear view of the guard house.
