DVC room with Baby

We've done a baby in many of them and have two others 9 and 5 now. I think all of them will work just fine with a pack 'n play. It's tight, but our kids are all so exhausted by the time we get back each night, it doesn't matter. The most important thing for us is to ensure we have this: https://www.slumberpod.com/ Nothing else matters as long as we have that. Everyone wins and toddler sleeps like a champ.

We’ve had a baby (3 months to 23 months) in these WDW studios:
- SSR
- Port Orleans FQ
- Pop Century
- BLT
- VGF
- BWV
- BCV
- AKL
- RIV
- CCV

My kids were both good sleepers, so the rooms all worked well. I liked Poly, RIV, and VGF the best due to the size of the room. But, most all the rooms had a certain nook to put the pack n play.

BLT was the hardest, due to the size of the room.

As I’ve stayed in almost all the resorts with a pack n play or a crib, I don’t agree with this at all.

The only studios we had to collapse our tandem double stroller to make room for the pack n play was our value studio at AKL and BLT.

All the other rooms were large enough to have a nook to put the pack n play and even keep the huge stroller open.
Sure, you could make it work in other DVC studios, but it would be tight. The reason why I said the Poly is by far the most comfortable Studio for a family of 5 (one of which is a 9 month old) is due to the fact that the Poly Studio's have the largest living space of any Walt Disney World DVC resort AND they have the 2nd bathroom/shower which can hold the pack and play for the 9 month old.

The 9 month old will probably be going down for bedtime fairly early. Assuming he/she sleeps through the night, the pack and play in the bathroom is ideal because then everyone else doesn't have to sit in silence in the room while the baby sleeps. Bring a sound machine and a baby camera for the 2nd bathroom, and you'll be set up for success. Win win for everyone!

I did not buy into the slumberpod hype initially. I didn't want to spend the money. After three restless-baby vacations I got one and the first vacation we used it was night and day difference. It is very nicely constructed and I love that they thought of everything... the individual pockets for the fan, monitor, and sound machine plus the way the vents were designed are just awesome. We intend to be studio people for as long as possible and the slumberpod is going to majorly assist in that goal!

We just got back from a week at the Poly with our 9 month old a couple of weeks ago. We requested a crib but never got one, but that was okay cause the Pack-n-Play worked just fine. We set him up in the shower bathroom with a sound machine at night, put the stroller up front near the lock-off door as others have mentioned, which left the rest of the room for just the 2 of us and I felt like we had a lot of space. My only issue was storage for all our cloths as I couldn't get one of the drawers under the bed to open and just never ended up calling the front desk. It was our first time staying at Poly and we loved it- we had a preferred room so it was great to put him to sleep each night and then go sit on the balcony and watch the MK fireworks. Also having access to the monorail for 2 parks was great for the stroller.

Wherever you decide, have a great trip!
