Should I link my DVC ressies with My Disney Experience?

I tried using the Travel Plan # from dvcmember.com and MDE was not finding it.

Will I need to do this for the new fast pass + (So I can reserve a time on Tower of terror in 2043?)

I manually link mine to MDE.

Do all guests on the reservation have the same last name? If not, try one of the other last names when you attempt to link to MDE.

FastPass+ is based on having theme park admission linked to MDE. From the Park Experience T&C:

To make a FastPass+ selection for yourself or your Friends, you must either retrieve a Resort package reservation including valid park admission through your account or associate valid park admission to your account.
