As some may know my sister and I have been researching buying into DVC for a while now.

We've decided that our best course is to rent some points to try out some of the DVC resorts before we buy, so we know what we do and don't like.

What we need to decide is which resorts to book for a May 2003 trip. We figure we can get 2 resorts in one trip, probably don't want to move much more than that.

We've stayed at OKW before, although we really really loved it, so we wouldn't mind staying there again.

But looking at BWV, BCV and WLV...

Which 2 of these 3 would you suggest ? I'm thinking maybe WLV and one of the Epcot area resorts but which one ?

Comments are most welcome

Ya, what she said.

I think it would be better to stay in two different areas of WDW. BCV's are new so I would choose those over BWV's, and you have already stayed at OKW. The Logical choice...VWL & BCV.

Good Luck, what a terrible decision to have to make!

I agree with the WLV/BCV combo. The only stumbling block might be finding a member with BCV points who wants to rent them. ;) Of course, any member can try to get what you need after the 7 month mark.

You will end up buying DVC....

It is wonderfull!!!

I say save the money you would spend to rent points....and Buy DVC !!!!

I wish that I would of bought earlier, and more points!!!

dtheboys-right on!

Thanks for the feedback so far, more would be welcome.

The problem we have with joining right now is our trip window has narrowed to early 2003. We'd planned to join DVC this year and do a fall 2003 trip, but that won't happen.

So we will delay joining DVC until late 2003/early 2004. But we can't go that long without a WDW fix so we're trying the best of both worlds, so to speak.
