Vote for the DVC resort(s) which, in your personal opinion, should win in the category of “Best Transportation Options”.

I have excluded the two offsite DVC resorts from consideration in this poll. I would suggest voting for your top one to three choices in this category, and then optionally adding a reply outlining your vote and the reason(s) behind your vote.

My top three choices would be:

1) BLT
2) VGC
3) BCV

OKW and SSR

Based on access to everything offered at the World, parks, Downtown Disney, two water parks I will have to say OKW and SSR. I think their central location to everything in the world, gets you to the most places in the shortest amount of time.

Runner ups for the location to specific parks would be:

BLT and VWL for Magic Kingdom

BW for the Studios

AKL for the Animal Kingdom

BCV for Epcot

I voted for BWV because you can easily walk to 2 of the 4 parks, but I guess it would depend on what parks are your favorite as to how much that means. BCV would be next for the same reason.

My family spends the most time at MK & then Epcot so I said BLT which is where we own! I could also consider BWV & BCV because we stayed at the Swan before & enjoyed walking to Epcot & taking the boat to the Studios.

Like Sammie said SSR for overall proximity.

Again though, BLT for MK is a winner too. :thumbsup2

BLT since I can walk to the MK, plus I get the monorail.

VGC since the only transportation needed is walking - no waiting for anything!

BCV since I can walk to Epcot or take a boat to DHS.

BWV would be next.

Near the bottom would be VWL, AKV, SSR and OKW.

VWL the boat rides around Bay Lake and then the one to the MK are my favorite forms of Disney Transportation. I am not a monorail lover.

BLT, BCV, BWV because you can walk! This is especially important during busy times.

I voted for VCG --I love being able to walk to everything at DL ( of course if you are only considering transportation to the WDW parks, then VCG would probably be the worst :lmao: )

BWV would be next. It is about the halfway point between EPCOT and DS. We usually walk to EPCOT, and sometimes walk to DS.

BCV is so close to EPCOT, that you can easily extend your restaurant choices to include all the WS restaurants for an evening meal.

BLT being a monorail resort plus within easy walking distance to the MK.

Although we haven't stayed yet BLT because MK is definately our favorite park and the walk just seals the deal!!! BCV because you can walk or boat (which we LOVE) and SSR because there are so many options and it is central to most things!!

BLT and CR by far! You can monorail, bus, boat or, dare I say it, WALK!:thumbsup2

I think the ability to WALK to parks outweighs all other options, thus BWV #1. Quick walking access to 2 parks. Then BCV, walking access to 2 parks, although getting to DHS is rather long, then BLT for MK.

I don’t get why everyone thinks it will be “easy” to get to Epcot via monorail from BLT. That would involve waiting for transportation twice - once at the CR, and then at TTC after the transfer. I don’t see that as being convenient. Am I missing something? Frankly, we will probably just take the bus from BLT to get to Epcot.

I voted for:
BLT - walk to MK and monorail
BCV - walk to Epcot and boat to DS and Epcot
BWV - walk to DS and boat to DS and Epcot

Having just stayed at BLT, perception is very much different than reality. I too thought the monorail would be awesome for transportation, but that's the perception. The reality is BLT should win hands down for location, if you walk to MK to enjoy the park or use it's buses. Even taking the monorail to MK takes a long time and don't get me started on the 35-40 ride to Epcot and that maze they make you run through at the TTC. I also found the monorail staff at the contemporary to be inept, confused and sometimes rude. The boats to Ft. Wilderness and Wilderness lodge are underrated, but came in handy for Hoop de Doo and Artist Point. The bus service at BLT was horrendous. I spoke to a couple who was waiting 50 minutes for the DTD/Typhoon Lagoon bus and it looked to be true by the amount of people that piled on to that bus.

I split my stay between AKV and BLT and I have to say I was very pleased with the AKV buses and overall I would say it was much better for park transport. That being said, you can't beat the monorail for getting you to your ADRs at the Poly and GF.

I took walking into consideration as a transportation method, and therefore gave BLT, BCV, and BWV a lot of consideration. In the end, though, I didn't go with these resorts. I've not stayed at BLT, but had to travel to Contemporary twice this past trip for Chef Mickey's and the Wave. It wasn't quite as easy as I'd hoped. BCV and BWV are great for getting to Epcot and DHS, but transportation to other locations (IMHO) was awful.

At VWL, the boats were great for the MK, but I didn't like sharing buses with Fort Wilderness for other destiations.

The spot from which we've had the best, most-consistent transportation to all destinations has been SSR.

That's probably a somewhat controversial vote. ;)

BLT for boat, bus and monorail
BWV & BCV for boat, bus and shoe leather express
