DVC Resales

Has anyone purchased a DVC through a resale company ? Just wondering what company worked well and was easy. Looking to buy WL points and am just starting to look around, price and plan. Any help is appreciated.

The buzz on here is that the timeshare store is the resident expert I have never heard anything bad about them. Plus they are the sponser of this forum. Tom always gives good advice

I have done two deals throught the Timeshare store and one deal each through another other companies. Honestly, the Timeshare store has been the most helpful. I bought and sold through them and they are very good customer service wise. My experience with the other two companies was not as good. Good luck to you!

I recently purchased a resale through The Timeshare Store. They were extreemly helpful and professional. They went out of their way to keep me informed at every step of the process. Even though Jason was my primary contact, my e-mailed questions to him were fielded by other representatives on Jason's days off, or out of the office times. Timeshare Closing Service was just a helpful and professional.

Buying a DVC couldn't have been any easier. This is a top notch organization.

I bought a resale at OKW from the TTS & a second OKW resale from a different co.. Had a good experience with both, you have to keep on top of everything with whoever you buy from.

You will not go wrong with the timeshare store (TSS).

Time and time again Tom has proven what a standup guy he is, and the calibre of his company.

I bought both of mine through the timeshare store and it went very smooooooth! I bought a BCV and OKW through them and will probably by my next one with them as well.

The TimeShare Store is the way to go. We recently bought a resale through them (just back in October) and it went great!!!!

We recently closed on a membership at the WLV thru the TTS. Everything went very smoothly. Transaction took only a matter of a few weeks. Making our first reservations for next fall soon!

I too have purchased from two companies The TTS and another both were very good no problems. I actually visited the TTS two weeks ago when we were there for our Dec trip. Very nice people and office.

I bought the VWL and Beachclub through the TTS. All was great. The VWL was ROFRed 3 times and approved on the 4th. The TTS hung in there though the entire process. Beachclub went through on the first time. No complaints here.

I purchased a resale through another company than TTS (too bad we can't use their names as well). We had a very good experience and great communication.

I also purchased through a broker-that-shall-not-be-named and had a great experience and service.

I wouldn't hesitate to use the Timeshare Store though. The only issue is that if you restrict yourself to one broker then you are at the mercy of VWL owners choosing that broker to sell.

I bought a resale through a broker (not the sponsor here) and sold another through this forums sponser. Both went without a hitch.
