There are so many choices here. First, if you don't need 750 points, I'd never buy one contract with that many. As for the price per point, I doubt you'll get WL for even $62 pp as the seller paid at least $72 and only within the last year or 2 but it doesn't hurt to try. As noted, the only differences between resale are the up front finances. Of course you have access to resorts by resale that are not available otherwise.

It sounds like you haven't researched this very well and are still struggling just to get familar. You may want to back off and get more aquainted with DVC before you proceed.

We travel over 1300 miles by car. It is nice to be able to unpack right in front of our resort, OKW. It is also nice to jump in vehicle to go somewhere. In my opinion the inside of all resorts is very similar except that OKW is larger rooms. The location of the other resorts is better for going to parks. OKW is best for traveling by boat to downtown Disney. The pools our better at other resorts.

Personally, I want to stay at all the resorts. DH prefers OKW.

Well a recent update.......we've had 3 resellers back out of contracts in a week so I got feed up and bought BCV 400 points about 30 mins ago..........there is a post on here of a guy who is trying dump his 220 points ...so I am going to try to buy his ASAP.....thank you again for all your help ....we are now DVC members.............

were not going to use the magical beginnnings option since i can rent the points out at 10 a pop....we just decided we are going back to WDW in August 2002 to do a cruide and stay in BCV since we've never even seen it but yet we bought .....sounds nuts but I spent over 60K on WDW in the past 10 yrs.....its time to get on the train with you smart folks........we just got back from WDW last week so I guess I am going back for seconds....in 2002
