So we are using points to stay at the animal kingdom. I understand there is a lounge we can go to at the contemporary??, So is that true and where is it and what do we need to show to get in.. And is that the only place

If you aren't special according to DVC, you can still go to TOTWL and the viewing deck at BLT on the top of the building since it is paid for by BLT owners. You check in with the CM on in the lobby, show your white ID card and maybe a picture ID and they will put you on the elevator.

Currently both, Disney leased the bar back from the owners, runs it and keeps the proceeds.

There's an indoor bar/lounge and you can get a couple different apps and desserts. There's also a pretty large sized deck outside that you can view the MK fireworks from.

If your villa is located on the top floor, you don't need any card!

It is worth visiting. It is very nice inside. It does tend to get full near the time for fireworks.
It is nice, that when you go out to view the fireworks, they put a reserved sign on your table for you, until you come back.
The 7 layer cake was great.
A very enjoyable way to end an evening.
