Been following, at least at the timeshare store for a few years now and after checking all I can say is now is a good time to sell your dvc if you've been on the fence...
Beach club is fetching upwards of 100.00 , last year it was at 80-85 per point
and my wilderness lodge, last year was at around 65.00 per point, I could get upwards of 90.00 now for it.

Even Saratoga is going to hit 80.00 soon

Supply and demand.

Disney has reduced the number of older resorts sold and they have a waitlist. This has pushed more buyers to resale which has reduced the availability and increased prices.

Listing is not selling. Many times offers are made and accepted below the asking price. But even considering that it is still a sellers market.

I got an interesting email today from Sharon at Fidelity. I've been kicking the tires on another possible VGC addition, so I contacted her last week to tell her to be on the lookout.

In going back and forth the past days, we've naturally discussed ROFR and where the line seems to be for VGC.

In today's email she said she has seen contracts pass in the last couple of weeks at VGC as well as other resorts at prices where Disney had been buying them back before then.

I wonder if maybe the DVC direct wait list, pumped up by the price increases earlier this year are getting satisfied and they don't need quite as many points as before.

Isn't there also a theory I've read somewhere that Disney isn't as aggressive in ROFR toward the end of the year? Maybe because they start running short of whatever $$ they had budgeted for ROFR for that year?

Anyway, just thought I'd pass it along, because it what she's seeing is widespread, it's good news for buyers!
