DVC Resale and ROFR

I just signed a contract for a DVC at OKW for 270 points...YES!!! Now I need to sweat Disney and see if they exercise the ROFR or not. Anyone know realistically what they are doing. If there are any trends in what they are buying or not. The use year is December and it is at $50 per point with a 2042 expiration date....I am hoping it gets through.

Also, does anyone know where I can look to see what Disney is doing. Do they post there ROFR results monthly or anything?

How many points are available now? If it's a loaded contract your chances are poor at best. If it is stripped, you may have a glimmer of hope! Good luck!!

Nothing you can do but wait. I think you will make it. They aren't taking every contract back. Good luck.

There are only 80 points available so maybe I have a chance. It is weird, I see some go through in the 50's and then I see some et exercised that are higher...almost like there is no reasoning.

I mean don't get me wrong, I think it is a good deal, but I don't believe I have stolen it from them either. I really did think long and hard and feel good so I did it. Ihaven't told the wife or kids just in case.....I need some Disney Magic now!!!

You bet! I'm waiting on ROFR for SSR and it has only been a week so I spend way too much time worrying about these things! the contract is 150 at $55 - Oct - 53 coming 2013, all 2014 and after. Paying closing, admin fee, and 2013 mf for the 53 points. We shall see!

Yeah, I am coming up on a week as well and seems like we are in the same boat. From what I see, SSR usually sells a touch higher than OKW, well at least it lists higher. So your 55 seems close to my 50. Hopefully we both get thru!!!

I know. I'm really hoping that, since it won't have full points until Oct 2014, that we are in the clear. Of course, we'll be borrowing for a while, but that's fine with me!

If you don't pass ROFR, it looks like there are a couple other OKW contracts available, depending on use year.
