DVC ??: Requesting Specific BCV Rooms

We are booked into a 2 bedroom unit at the BCV for July using our DVC points.

What is the best way to ensure that we get a 2 bedroom unit with 2 queen beds in the second bedroom, not one queen bed and a queen sofa bed? Are those accomodations in a specific part (floor, section, etc.) of the resort?

You will need to call Member Servicdes back and have a request added to your reservation. When we booked our April 2009 trip a few weeks ago this is what I did.

You need to request a Dedicated 2 Bedroom with 2 Queen Beds.

I think it is like the building "request" for OKW, it doesn't take any extra points but there are only so many to go around. If you are able to get it on your reservation then you should be able to count on it when you check-in.

From what I've read, the two queen 2 BR is a separate booking category. MS should be able to tell you if that's what you've booked or if it's still available to book.

The two BR dedicated 2 Q aren't in one specific area.

It is a seperate booking category. You either booked it, or you didn't. If you didn't, the chances of such a thing being available are pretty slim. Those rooms are on the "they go fast" list.

If you didn't book it, then go on a waiting list...it's your only chance. Dedicated 2 bedrooms with 2 Q's.

I've got one booked for October and my confirmation says "2BR with 2 Queenbeds in 2nd BR". HTH

I booked my Dedicated 2 bedrooms with 2 Q's for our upcoming August trip when I made my reservations. I even did day by day just to make sure I received one.

It's important to say the "2Q's" as well as dedicated. There are more dedicated that have the 1 Q and sofa bed at BCV then there are with the 2Qs.

There are only 25 dedicated two bedroom villas with two queen beds in the second bedroom. If you didn't reserve it to begin with, I'm afraid you are going to be disappointed when you check in.
