If you cancel and rebook to a different date so they still implement their cancellation policy on the different tiers of money lost? We have end of February booked and we are in VT fully vaccinated and boosted but are getting nervous about getting sick right before or while on vacation
We have insurance for flight.

Yes. They still apply the tiered refund policy. The refund is issued as a credit toward a future rental, which is what your re-booked stay would be. They still have to pay the owner who booked that February reservation for you in full and they would attempt to find another renter to take the reservation, which will be offered at a markedly reduced price since you are so close to the check in day.

I think you need to read the terms of their Stress-free Cancellation Policy over. As I understand it, there are no cash refunds. At this point, you would lose 50% of what you paid and the remaining half will be issued as a credit toward a future rental.

I think you need to read the terms of their Stress-free Cancellation Policy over. As I understand it, there are no cash refunds. At this point, you would lose 50% of what you paid and the remaining half will be issued as a credit toward a future rental.
