Has anyone bought tickets form the DVC Rental Store? I've had them rent my DVC points before so I know it's a legit company. But, I have never bought park tickets with them. Does anyone have any experience with this? Do they go into the app and everything like regular tickets?

Other than the ~48 hour wait time to receive tickets - it is essentially the same as any other ticket vendor, you get an email with a code that you can type into MDE to load the ticket.

DVC Rental Store's Parent company (World of DVC) also recently launched a website https://unlockedmagic.com/ which sells tickets too.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I had literally had given up and was in the Disney website about to make my purchase when my email notification popped up saying someone had replied.

I used them for a trip last January. I compared against UT and Tickets at Work. They were all very close but rental store was cheaper at the time.

Does anyone know how they code for Chase? Freedom has 5% CB for ticketing agencies but UT codes as travel. TIA!

I didn't know there was a discount for tickets, and I use the sapphire for almost everything. Do you have to buy them through them or how does it work?
Tickets may fall into the “travel” category for Chase when you purchase from certain places (DVC Rental Store/Magic Unlocked or Undercover Tourist, for example), so then you get the travel category percent back when buying tickets from those places. This does not work when buying directly from Disney though. Which is why you may want to buy from these other places (in addition to these other places potentially being less expensive than directly purchasing tickets from Disney).

Is this for the Chase Sapphire or the Chase Disney card?
Neither it is about the Chase freedom line of cards. The Chase freedom which is no longer offered and the Chase freedom flex offer rotating categories and in quarter three 2025 entertainment is a category that is offered at 5% back.

The discount is offered through the ticketing brokers directly. DVC rental store sells them for a discount along with undercover tourist.

The good news for you since you use a sapphire you will get 2X or 3X on travel until October when purchasing through DVC rental store or undercover tourist.

The previous person was wondering if they could as entertainment as that is a 5% category for quarter three 2025 on Freedom cards which can then be transferred to Sapphire cards.

I just logged into my chase account and checked my Sapphire transactions, I did end up buying my tickets for the DVC Rental Store, and they do show as travel in the category. So, does this means it happens organically? We get the extra points without doing anything? This is literally the first time I dont buy directly from Disney, now i regret buying from Disney every other trip.

For now until Chase changes the travel in October afterwards it will be back to 1% earned.
