DVC Rental Cancellations

Question: Are DVC Rentals being cancelled in advance at all like cash stays? Or just being cancelled the day of the rental when resorts are closed.

DVC does cancel the stays. However, the cancellations come closer to the booked nights, about 7-4 days out. I read they do a whole week at a time.

DVC is behind the process with cash reservations. It may be so that they don’t cancel too soon in case the green light is given to open...also, for the most part, the policy is the same if a member or DVC cancels,

If it is a rental, then the DVC owner will let DVC do it so not to be in breach of any contract that may be in place. But, as mentioned, it’s only done no more than a week out and never on the weekends.
