DVC renovations-- question!

Hey guys, I have a thread in rumors right now about Wilderness Lodge.

I have a question for you DVC experts: are renovations and refurbishments contractually obligated? As in, does Disney vacation Club need to refurbish Boulder Ridge Villas this year as scheduled?

I have a little conspiracy theory about why cash rooms in the main building of Wilderness Lodge aren't reopening through September of 2021.

Could anyone let me know how refurbishments work, and if they are set in stone? Thank you so much!

They have a general refurb schedules but Things can get delayed and it would not be any violation of the contract.

Given the government shuts downs, DVC resorts were allowed to legally shut down and I think that is enough of a reason to push back the renovations of BRV.

DVC must use the funds set aside for refurbishment on refurbishment, but the timing is by no means contractually set.

Yes, it is supposed to be happening this year. It needs it!

Not until they choose to announce it-- anyone know a potential time when announcements about DVC may be made?
