DVC referral and member credit???

At what point is it too late to add a members name as a referral when buying into DVC? We have a friend who is buying into BLT and we're not sure if he listed us as referring members. He hasn't received his paperwork yet, so we thought he might still be able to get us listed if he just calls his guide. Any thoughts?

Your friend can try, but I think the referral has to be mentioned at the very first contact they have with DVC.

You can still call and do it- just tell them you forgot. I did this a few weeks ago and called my guide back and gave them the information and she said it was no problem to give the people credit. Have them call their guide.

Thanks guys. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that as long as the paperwork hadn't been signed and returned, you could still add a referral. We'll double check with him..he may have already added us as his referral.
