I agree totally Dean and we really are one of those families that increased their spending at Disney once we purchased our points. But we are also very happy with the decision to do so. We go on that trip every year and don't worry about the room. We just go and enjoy ourselves.

Actually we usually just go for Sunday to Friday or if we stay weekends, we usually check out non DVC resorts or stay at Universal resorts for a change. One persons aggravation is another persons chance to experience other resorts.

We've had wonderful experiences using the discounts on DIS to stay at the Dolphin on fridays and saturdays to save a few points. Supurb service and amenities, equivalent to WDW deluxe resorts.
