DVC purchasing question

My husband and I are looking to buy into the Disney Vacation Club. We are purchasing a new home in the fall and was told by a Disney Vacation Club Rep that they do not put any information with the credit reports. The only thing that shows up is an inquiry when they pull your credit report. We just dont want to jeopardize our approval for our new house..Can anyone who is a member verify that this purchase does not show up on your credit report. Thanks so much!

If they said it doesn't, then it probably doesn't. I don't remember, since we didn't finance when we bought DVC, but used a home equity loan. You might actually think about that with your new home mortgage too. That would make any interest you pay deductible as opposed to just financing through Disney.

As long as you stay current with your payments, DVC does not show up on credit reports, just like you were told.

Thanks everyone for all your help! My husband and I decided to purchase points with Saratoga Springs. We cant wait! We have always been big Disney fans and even were married at the Yacht Club in 1995.
