IS 50.00 the best promotion that disney offers to go to their presentation? We want to go but also would love the best offer!;)

Hey if that's dollars.. go for it! They were offering a couple of fasspasses the day we went... and as it was the last thing we did before we went home from our trip we didn't even get those!

We bought into DVC and stayed in SSR in Jan (just gone) and they had a $100 money off disney goods voucher for guests who weren't members and took the tour, but that requires you staying on someone elses points or paying cash for a DVC room!

Apparantly the time of year you go and how busy they are will determine the kind of offer you get - at least that's what the guy on the stand in SSR told us.

We love DVC... it means we're getting to make so many more trips than we ever thought we would... yippeee!!!

Honestly, when we went we did not get anything except a wealth of information that we have been pondering over for a year.

Our friends went at WDW and got 3 nights free at the ASMU just for going they didnt buy.

I think they still have the AP promotion along with the $50. If you purchase DVC you get AP's to DL or WDW. That is pretty cool.

I don't think they've been running the $50 for about a year now. We went to the presentation in Aug '06 and we were given 2 fastpasses for each person in our party. We also got soda/water during the presentation. The presentation was excellent and we were given lots of great information. It wasn't a high pressured sales pitch, and our person was great. DH and i decided not to buy into DVC then, we're not quite sure how often we'd make it out to FLorida. We may purchase it if a DVC opens up at Disneyland though.

We purchased in May 06 and got the fast passes for going to the presentation. We also met a great guide, got all the info we needed, and ended up buying DVC. Now we are staying onsite at DLR when we go in May/June, and have our first WDW trip planned for Oct. :goodvibes

They were still running the "Take the DVC tour and get $50" promo when we were there last October.

Not sure if it's still going on now though.
