DVC Preview and showing ID?

We'll be at WDW for the Finding Nemo preview. SO's parents are DVC members and we're staying with them at OKW. We don't always tour the park with them so they suggested we take his DMs DVC card so that we can access the preview if we don't happen to be touring with them that day. Will this be okay or do you need to show photo ID in addition to the DVC card to access the preview?

The announcement says that you will need both the DVC card and a photo ID. Whether or not that will be enforced is impossible to tell. My suggestion: make plans to meet up so that you can all do that one particular ride together....

Admittedly, Expedition Everest was a bigger event and probably drew bigger crowds than the Finding Nemo preview will, but it is the only one I've been to - they did require picture ID along with the member card then.

We previewed Soarin, and they required both.

You must be with the member to attend. We have done the AP previews and during mission space, the CM let my grandson go in my place with my hubby since I had the AP and GS did not (hubby did). But I was standing there and asked. Since we are DVC members and AP holders doing the preview won't be an issue for us.
