DVC Pool Hopping

Hi all,

Not sure about the answer to this question so I figured why not ask the pros. I know DVC members are allowed to pool hop with the exception of AKV, BC/YC, and BLT. My question is, if you are renting points from a member, are you offered that same perk? TIA!

No- you are not transfered the member perks because of renting. You need to use your membership card to pool hop.

If you are renting points, you are not entitled to any DVC perks. Only guests of the member who do not compensate the member for the stay might get some of the member perks.

Chiming in to say that we are big-time users of the pool-hopping perk and you have to show your blue DVC membership card in addition to the KTTW. So - just as pp have said - pool-hopping is like Welcome Home Wednesdays and Member parties - for actual card-carrying members only.
