Do DVC owners post their points somewhere in particular when selling?

I assume you mean where DVC owners post to rent points. There is a Rent/Trade board in DIS boards (http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=29). Check it out. A lot of posts there to rent points.

If you are talking about selling your entire contract, you will have to contact one of the real estate brokers who specializes in DVC.

My personal recommendation is The Timeshare Store.

But you have to meet the posting requirements - at least 50 points during in the past, not all one day or within a few days. And those rules get more restrictive come Feb 1 (Tuesday).

So determine if you want to offer your points for a one time use (renting a reservation) or a total sale (never using them again and someone else will own them - a real estate transaction).
