DVC points for Loew's Regency NY??

Anyone ever use their points there??? Thanks to the economy I'm not sure if we will be able to use our points to go to Disney next year. I was trying to think of how we could use them without them going to waste. We're just a quick train ride to NY so I was debating on looking into using the points to stay there. Anyone ever done it?????

We live about 3 1/2 hours from NYC and would love to FINALLY visit NYC.

We did! We stayed there in 2008 and LOVED it. The hotel was fantastic and VERY close to Central Park. We walked everywhere we wanted to go and had a great time.
The room was fabulous, spacious and we really had a great experience.

Do these rooms ONLY sleep 4?

In my experience, I would say yes. We had a suite with a king size bed and then a sofa bed.

Thank you SO much for the info!! A friend and I just stayed over night at the Marriott Marquis and it made me realize I can't wait to go back with my family. We're only about 2 hours away so it's very convenient.

It's definitely an option if we can't make it to WDW next year. Thanks so much!!
