I'm a fairly new DVC owner. Had our first trip this past December on DVC points. Planning another trip Dec '08, but this time to Disneyland.

I have read the points chart for the different Disney hotels there. But I was wondering about the suites (1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom) availability for DVC members, like at the Disneyland Hotel. Does anyone know if you can use DVC points for those too? Also, I know you can book non-home resort 7 months out... is it the same for Disneyland Hotels?

TIA :goodvibes

I do not know about the 1-2 bedroom rooms, but I believe you can book up to 12 months in advance.

Yes, MS will be able to tell you the points required, but the the larger rooms are available.

A couple weeks ago we booked a 1bd suite at grand californian for 4 nights, mon-thurs. (our first DVC point stay yyaayy) cost was 220 points. hope that gives you an idea. also we made the booking a few weeks ago for a february stay so it was pretty short notice for dvc standards.

Is there a point chart for the larger rooms at the disneyland resort? Just curious. Too late now for me, but we booked a room at the Grand Californian for spring break with developer points, but would have upgraded to a suite if it had been available. I will have 6 developer points expire on me :( and could have spent them & some more of my regular points to "Save" those points.:rotfl2:
