DVC Points at non-DVC Resort?

Hi All,

I'm looking into buying into DVC through a resale but I was curious to know if you can use DVC Points to book a stay at a non-DVC resort. For instance, can I use DVC Points at say Pop Century for a stay? If so, is there a chart that lists the point values per stay for each type of season? Any info would be great!!

DVC points cannot be used at Value Resorts, but may be used at Moderate and deluxe resorts not otherwise associated with a DVC resort (points may not be used at BCV, BWI, WL or CR).

Points for value resorts will be higher than using DVC points for DVC studios even at moderate resorts and even 1BR villas may be a better value in many situations.

In addition, there will be a $95 charge to make a reservation at a non-DVC resort.

Basically, it requires a lot more points for a lot less lodging. Plus the $95 fee.
