DVC points and renting help

I am new to this and am not sure where to post this but I figured this was a good start!

We are planning a trip .....(deleted)....... was thinking about renting DVC points to stay somewhere nice, it will be 3 adults and 3 kids (DD10,DD8 and DS 10 months) where would be best to stay? One room or 2? And how many points do I need? Someone please help me!

Well, the cheapest will be go with two studios, but you will be giving up the convenience of everyone being together and having a kitchenette. I would pay a little extra and spring for the 2-bedroom. They are spacious and very comfortable for 6 people.

My faves are BWV, BCV, and AKV.

if you are planning for **, now is a good time to start researching DVC. DVC owners can book 11 months in advance and many do just that, especially at the more popular resorts.

there are point charts in the top righthand corner of your screen.

if you are planning a trip for next month, you are most likely wasting your time looking for a rental...if you'd be willing to stay at SSR or any resort with availability, then maybe you'll get lucky and find something. you never know...

i would definitely opt for the 2 bedroom as well. we go down with our 3 kids and my wifes parents as often as we can, and always get the 2 BB. plenty of room for everyone to unwind after a long day.
